Borderline – Odd thriller comedy in which L.A. cop Trevor tries to gather proof contrary to cunning drug smuggler Burr when mixing with hard gentleman MacMurray in Mexico. Starts out hopefully, although eventually slows down in absurdity. Burr makes a articulate scoundrel.The cast includes Fred MacMurray, Claire Trevor, Raymond Burr, Jose Torvay, Morris Ankrum, and Roy Roberts. (88 minutes,’50)

Fantomas against Scotland Yard – Cynical cliffhanger-type venture story, with Marais as wonderful felon involved in sports orientated adventures. Cast includes Jean Marais, Louis De Funes, Mylene Demongeot, and Henri Serre. (104 minutes,’66)

Dingo – An unexpected appearance by jazz trumpeter Billy Cross (Davis) in a youngster’s rural town empowers him to become a musician himself. Now grown up, he still fantasies of playing for a living and honoring his lifelong hero. This pleasant but dull paced story is kindled by Miles Davis’ dynamic presence and fawning behavior. Cast includes Colin Friels, Miles Davis, Helen Buday, Joe Petruzzi, Bernadette Lafont, and Bernard Fresson. (108 minutes,’91)
