Can Wear Them All Day – B Headphones Review
It’s difficult to feel them at times. I often turn the unit off while trying to adjust the volume down.
I bought these to use with Skype so I could move around or lay down on group calls and studies I participate in. I had tried a cheaper pair that I returned because they wouldn’t connect. I would even say that in some instances the quality is better than what I hear normally through my speakers. I was a little concerned about purchasing wireless headphones and the effect it would have on the quality, I would say it is not a concern any more. We use Sennheiser products (mics) in our Rock Band and the performance is consistent and high-end quality. I would recommend this product to others. The RS180 are a blessing as far as wireless headphones go. If you’re an audiophile who demands the absolute best and wants to hear every note of Tchaikovsky, it won’t be on these.
I can’t vouch for the range though; I have little reason to prance around with these. But as for upstairs and downstairs in the same house, no worries with these headphones. The only thing I did not like so much about this product is that when you use it for a long period of time, around 30-45 minutes, your ears sweat and get desperate warm. Ordered 2 and received very timely. These headphones were meant to be multi-purpose: music, primarily classical, New Age, contemporary (a wide range), as well as TV. There is nowhere I can go in my home where I can make it drop out, or even produce any noise/static, including down my driveway to my mailbox. Only the volume and balance controls took me a little while to get used to; sometimes I would accidentally turn off the phones rather than adjust the volume. Previous reviewers have remarked on the slight delay in sound transmission; I’ll say it is about one-tenth to one-fifth of a second.
The surround sounds are incredible. It makes watching movies with outstanding sound tracks a real treat. This was entirely the fault of the Sony. Having said that, the sheer ability of this set to reproduce sound simply overcame the shortcomings. When I decided on the RS-180 I bought it from J & R because their customer service is outstanding. The DVD product guide estimated an initial charge of up to 16 hours, but mine was ready for blastoff in about 7.
I have used the Sennheiser RS-130 for the past 4 years, and the surround sound was incredible and delicious. My main uses are for Blu-ray movies and late night TV viewing as to not disturb any neighbors, plus it’s an intimate experience without any street noise. After breaking them in for a couple of days, they fit my head like a large comfortable head glove. I’ve worn them already for hours on end with very little ear fatigue.
The control buttons are too difficult to adjust while they are on your head. You need to be able to easily identify which button is which with feel so make them more distinctive in feel and spatial separation.
Nice choice for this price. The ear pads have a “cracking” sound when they’re moved. SOUND PROOF HEADPHONES. Granted, I love loud songs but you can hear exactly what I’m hearing clearly! The cord is at least 8 feet tall, maybe 12 feet. Wireless Headphones For Computer.
