This is a chord of 3-note or may be called major ‘G’ triad. For the re-harmonization of this symbol, ‘G’ should be plunked down first, then ‘B’ to its above which is the major third and lastly the ‘D’, which is the minor triad, should be plunked down above the ‘B’. But if the symbol is minor triad, the combination should be reversed; that means the minor third will be first and then the major third should be plunked down.

In case of G7, another minor third has to be on the top that is G, B, D and F. But if the symbol is Gmaj7, the F should be replaced by F#. These are the basic rules.The Christmas sheet music can be learned by getting knowledge about some basic rules. Try to get through these rules.
