Does September has any significance in song and lyrics?
Hornet One asked:
Many song lyrics seems to have this month more often than any others
Many song lyrics seems to have this month more often than any others
Some of the songs I’ve came across
BBMak – September
Natalie Imbruglia – Come September
Green Day – Wake Me Up When September Ends
Plain White T – A Lonely September
Is it just a coincidence?

Maybe because September is the end of the summer and the start of cold, depressing seasons?
There’s a song called “Cry For You” by September.
For me September is the most melancholy month of the year.
It is kind of that month between seasons where you’re falling back into routine after summer and ready for the changes of fall.
September is the Limbo of the Julian Calendar.
Some of the saddness is from the end of the summer and summer loves.
Not sure. Have a great day!
Well, I don’t know, but I do know that Green Day’s song, Wake Me Up When September Ends, is dedicated to the father of one of the members of the band, who died in September. The member of the band is remembering his father (20 years has pased since his death) and September makes the person remember him.
