Earphones: These are great for MP3/4 players, your iPod and can be used with your computer’s sound system, plus other portable devices. Most models are sold for less than twenty dollars.
Ear clip headphones are great because the wrap around the user’s ear. This helps in preventing them to fall off. If you workout at the gym or go for a run, these would be ideal to use. The cost can be very inexpensive for most of these.
Mid-size headphones are a little smaller than full size. They put out more bass frequency that the others above and can also be used with portable audio players. The price also tends to be more expensive, but if you’re looking for some “thump” these are the way to go. They may also come with an adapter so they can be used with your home stereo system.
Full size will give you the maximum slam. The more expensive models will make you feel like you’re at a concert when the volume on your home stereo is turned up. They’re very comfortable and can be worn for hours. These are larger and are not really made for portability. You’ll also need a stronger output from the audio source to make them play at full potential.
If you want to forget about the cords, wireless is here for you. Most models have a 20-30 foot range before you hear any static. More expensive models will allow them to play through walls, ect. Basically, they’re used because most people want to sit further away from the stereo.
Regardless of which headphones you choose, you’ll be able to listen to whatever you want, whenever you want. All headphone speakers are pretty much designed equally. The only only difference is the style you choose, and of course the size.
