FM Modulator For My Car
My iPod and me go everywhere together. When I’m on the go, I have to have personal music with me or I’d go crazy. I simply cannot stand listening to the radio because of the constant commercials. There aren’t many stations in my area that play the music I like, so an mp3 player is an absolute must.
Portable music players have come along way since the Sony Walkman. Having the ability to walk around with our favorite music was an incredible step forward for the music industry. These days almost everyone has an mp3 player (most likely an iPod). These little devices are extremely easy to use and allow you to hold hundreds of albums in the palm of your hand. When you’re in the car however, most people find that their vehicle doesn’t have an easy way to hook up an iPod. Because of this, an FM modulator is a popular item for iPod owners.
Most of my friends think that wired FM modulators are the best way to connect an iPod to your car stereo. I, however, think my friends are crazy. Ripping apart my dash to hook up my iPod is not something that sounds desirable to me at all. I don’t have any experience with wiring or electrical installations, so the thought of wasting a Saturday trying to install a modulator sounds pretty stupid. A wireless unit that I don’t have to install seems to be the better choice.
The best wireless FM modulators are able to transmit over any frequency on the public FM band. A quality wireless FM modulator will also be compatible with any audio source and be able to broadcast that audio for up to 150 feet. Here is an example of a good wireless FM modulator.
Sites like eBay and Amazon are a good place to do product research. The feedback on these sites will usually tell you whether or not you’re purchasing a quality product. Of course their is always going to be a few people who trash a product even if it’s great, but as long as most of the comments are positive you can bet it is a good product.
Usually if you try to save a few bucks, especially with technology, you end up getting burned. Cheap modulators will give you terrible audio quality and unnecessary headaches. Make sure to buy the highest quality FM modulator, so that you can start enjoying great audio in your car today.
