Good Headphones – Custom Headphones Review

Let me just say that he hasn’t found the magical area where the sounds begins to fade. One of the best features of these headphones is that they are open, so even though nobody can hear what he is listening to, he can still hear what’s going on around him.

The sound quality has always been great relative to other headphones I have tried, and I had no reason to change to another model except for two things. First, the rotary volume control can easily change if you are lying down and make contact against the controls. The sound starts breaking up at about 25 feet but because I am sitting maybe 10 feet from my big screen 99% of the time this is not a big deal. The thing I dislike most is the volume up/on-off/volume down button set on the underside of the right ear piece.

It is probably about 1/3 of a second. That may not sound like much, but when you’re playing 32nd notes on a guitar, what you’re playing gets to your ears 4 notes later than you played it. They have very reasonable range and auto-volume adjusts. NO extraneous noise. Sound: These are the best headphones I’ve ever heard, though all my past headphones were $20 so that isn’t a very helpful is it? Despite not having a trained ear, I’ll try describing the audio as best as possible.

After it dried in about an hour, it left those buttons with a raised “bump” that my fingers can easily find. The on/off/standby button is between the volume buttons, so it is now easy to find with my fingers also.

I think RS130 is analog sound and RS180 is digital sound. Sound quality is very good and no static background noise. My ears also hurt after a short time due to the foam ear pads. After more research I decided to give the RS180 a try. There is no static. I wear them for several hours a day and they’re quite comfortable. The wireless range extends through multiple walls (YMMV). I’ve had these about a week and I think they’re great.

The batteries last about the rated 24 hours before requiring a recharge. You do get about a half hour of warning that the batteries are getting close to being discharged. Unfortunately, none of the digital headphone systems will allow you to watch TV with your loved ones. I am using a Sennheiser analog headphone system Sennheiser RS 130 Wireless Surround Sound Headphones and it works perfectly, no delay so I can enjoy my evening TV with my wife. In an effort to make the units sleek, there is almost no tactile or color differential to highlight any button on either the headphones or the base. Again, we invented a solution which works for us, but the whole headphone unit seems to be designed more for appearance than ease of use. The kids are blessed with excellent hearing, while mine has been sub-standard most of my life. My wife and kids were constantly telling me to turn the volume down.

I usually just use the Sony V150 studio headphones, which I found when I searched “buy headphones online”. They wore out rapidly, likely due to the cheap cord. RF WIRELESS HEADPHONES. I really like my earphones. Fantastic value for your money! RF WIRELESS HEADPHONES.
