Great Sound But Just A Tad Large – Wireless Mp3 Head Phones Review

I think RS130 is analog sound and RS180 is digital sound. Sound quality is very good and no static background noise.

Thanks Amazon for offering quality with great pricing. The design of earphone is so unique that I have not seen before. I’d like to be able to sit in my screened porch and listen, but it cuts out just before I get to the door, which is no more than 50′ from the transmitter. We’ll see if moving the transmitter (use a long audio extension cable) helps any. These are perfectly comfortable for extended periods; though I find I usually never have them on for more than a couple hours. Sometimes I just let them hang around my neck instead of putting them down; convenient. The RS180 are a blessing as far as wireless headphones go. If you’re an audiophile who demands the absolute best and wants to hear every note of Tchaikovsky, it won’t be on these.

However, I have not tried them outside. As at least one other reviewer pointed out, the controls are difficult to use with the headphones in use. There is even much more of a 5:1 effect than I get with my room system (which is also fantastic). So – I wouldn’t even consider any other model, or for that matter, any other brand than the Sennheiser. Overall, I’ve been really happy with this purchase. First, it was really easy to set up the headphone system. I have used these headphones about 6 times for usually about 2 hours each time (normally playing Xbox 360). As I write this, I am using them to listen to music streamed off my PC sent through my PS3.

Exceptionally audio and as advertised the headphones enhance the audio clarity, as if bringing the voices to the front of the screen. This particular model — the 180 — focuses on “open air” and the audio clarity. These cans utilize Kleer technology and an open design. I always preferred open headphones for the more natural bass response and to my 50 year old ears these sound great. When I decided on the RS-180 I bought it from J & R because their customer service is outstanding. The DVD product guide estimated an initial charge of up to 16 hours, but mine was ready for blastoff in about 7.

The open ear design is great for enjoying great audio in the house without getting closed off from the world. Not easy to set it up with 1 transmitter to multiple headphones, had to just daisy chain the audio cable to a second transmitter. Your music is sum of all sound waves at different frequencies. When you listen to a symphony, you typically have a wide range of frequencies going from 20Hz to 20 kHz.

I picked these up for a Christmas present for myself after researching wireless headphones online. My partner can’t stand hearing gun shots & zombie screams coming from the living room.

They aren’t very robust in structure so do not sit on them or manhandle them by any means. Very lightweight for full coverage. WIRELESS MP3 HEADPHONES. But hearing songs laying down is completely comfortable. They do not pinch my ears so I can use it longer. infrared wireless headphones.
