How can I take the music off my ipod and put it on my new computer’s itunes?

yelexia asked:

I got a new laptop and I’m wondering if I can move the music either directly from my laptop or through my ipod. Any ideas?
I looked up SENUTi like you suggested but it’s only for Mac and I have Windows Vista

What you can do is go to My Computer. Then click on the removable disk that says iPod. After you are there and it says some folder in there about your iPod. You then click Tools, Folder Options, Click the View tab. Scroll down where it says Hidden file and folders. Click Show hidden files and folders. Then there will be a folder called iPod_control. click that and there should be some folders names like F12 or similiar to that. Copy them to your computer. Then open them and they should have a whole bunch of file names. That say something like GHRD, BXGY, CVGD. Highlight those files and drag them over into iTunes. And it should say processing all files into Library. But if you want you can download something called CopyPod. I am not sure if it works on Vista. Any more questions hit me up
