How can I transfer my Music and documents from an old computer to a new one?
endless_misses asked:
I am trying to transfer all of my documents and Music I have on my old computer to my new one. I have Windows XP Home Edition, but I can’t run Windows XP Backup because I can’t find my Disk that I need for it.So Is there any way I can compress all my files and put them on a CD or A floppy Disk? And Just upload them on my new computer, would it work that way?
P.S.I really don’t trust online Backup Especially the ones you have to pay for!

You could buy a transfer cable or some external storage. If you are going to dump the old computer, you might want to go the route of external storage – that way you would have a backup.
I KNOW
A floppy disk would be way way to small.
Instad select everything (control+a) and right click it then select Send to->zipped folder. If it is under 700MB it would fit on a CD. To put it on a cd right click the zipped file and press Send to->CD Drive. Then go to your cd drive in “My Computer” and then on the left click “Burn these files to CD”. Put in a cd and then when you get to your new computer just copy the zipped file over and you will have your files.
You could also copy the files to a zip/flash/thumb drive.
