you will have to use itunes and take the music from your old one and store them on your itunes library..and then just put it on your new one from itunes

Simple plug in your new IPod, Run itunes.On your itunes and it should say something about registering your ipod onto itunes, and it should let you put all of your music on there.

Some good answers have been provided here already for iTunes. If you wish to look at other easier ways of transferring music, video, photos and files then there are better software products around than iTunes in my opinion.

The free resource at has a whole lot of useful tips and information about the things you can do with your ipod.
