How do I fix my new ipod to transmit music to my car stereo?

Sorry, but it can’t do that. IF your car has a compatible jack (for a cable), then you can play through your stereo.
They were probably referring to using one of the iPod car adapter devices sold at any electronic store or Target etc. You plug your iPod into the adapter and the adapter transmits radio waves.
