Maybe you’ve been playing Rock band or Guitar Hero too much and thought to yourself how fun it would be to play an actual guitar. Well, guitars are relatively easy to play so long as you have the mettle and patience to train yourself how to rock your guitar. Although starting out on guitar is not so glamorous or as easy as video games, but they have their perks.

Basic chords are essential for you to proceed to more complicated progressions as you continue learning how to play a guitar. Sure, you might trip your fingers from time to time because your hand isn’t used to placing your fingers on certain strings but as time passes, you’ll get the hang of it eventually. Things don’t happen overnight and there is no quick or sure fire way to learn the basics as most people claim it to be, you just got to sit tight and experience it. Get inspiration from your guitar heroes and study from people you meet that like to accomplish playing the guitar and have had great experiences reading the ropes themselves.

As you practice your guitar, your fingertips will harden and your fingers will adapt to the chord positioning that you’ve been practicing. It’s all a matter of consistency and not missing the time to practice properly the art of learning how to play the guitar.
