How to write good song lyrics?
JazzCat asked:
I’m writing a song to be played at my wedding. I’m a very experienced songwriter, and have sold a lot of my work, but I’ve never been any good at lyrics and have had to hire a lyricist. For my wedding, I want to be able to write my own lyrics. Everything I write ends up sounding really cliche and cheesy. How do some of you better lyricists do it?

By living thru alot of bullsh*t.
The best way to write anything is by writing things that you know. Things that you have experienced are things that most people can relate to. Most people like songs that they can relate to.
