The plastic seems to be made from less expensive supplies however it is a less expensive design. Spend a little more cash and get an excellent set of infrared wireless headphones. These infrared wireless headphones are the most useful I ever had. Every other song, it sounds average. The bass is extremely light, you can barely feel it if you aren’t listening to rock songs.

I would recommend no one to ever buy these things, total and complete disappointment. Extremely comfortable and the sound is excellent.

I like the ten foot cord.

Sound canceling or not it does not matter because you cannot hear others with them on anyway.

It sounds like a radio on low volume. Fantastic bass output, which I like, as well as the general sound, is excellent. Overall if you’re contemplating buying these do it now! I must use them with a rag of shirt on top of my head for padding since the excess weight of the headphones causes straps to cut into my scalp, really miserable. Delicate midrange sounds are often heard. The noise from the random parts of these headphones renders them useless. The Sony earcups don’t swivel from right-to-left, but only up-and-down. The bass doesn’t over power the mids or highs which is ideal for me. They’re tough to fit these acoustic research wireless headphones in a bag and travel with. The sound reproduction is excellent and the headphones do precisely what they ought to. These have lasted for 100s hours to date and sound great. I’ve had these headphones for a month and love them. You should not be disappointed as I am not!

I put them on for hours while working and end up forgetting I am wearing them so comfortable enough.

And don’t think these provide great bass response. I purchased these headphones for work to shut out the noise from some of the adjacent cubicles. They’re comfortable and sound great on my small computer, my music player, and my tablet. Otherwise, they are excellent, especially for the cost. They aren’t as loud and you will hear the background music about 30 feet at high volume away. We ordered these sound proof headphones so we could watch our films after the children went to bed.

The ear cushions feel comfortable, regardless of the relatively large size according to a noise cancelling headphones review. These infrared wireless headphones are the most useful I ever had.
