Illegal Movie Downloading Sites Can Poison Your Computer
Movie downloads have become so easy you probably don’t know anyone who hasn’t tried it at some point. Young people, especially, seem to have an expert knowledge of what’s involved, whether they’re with a group or on their own. Because of the many options open to them, it became very easy for them to do what they want without getting caught.
Note that this certainly doesn’t apply to the sorts of things uploaded by individuals on sites like YouTube. These are their personally properties and are perfectly acceptable for you to watch.
However, major Hollywood films and other movies are owned by the people that make them, and the people who post them online for your use are stealing them from the owners.
Many people make excuses that watching illegally downloaded movies isn’t harming anyone. Sometimes they even convince themselves that while the downloaders might get in trouble, they are safe themselves. However, this is a dangerously incorrect way to think. The Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) seriously condemns this practice and tags movie downloaders as “a movie thief whose crimes carry serious legal consequences.”
You might not ever realize the amount of harm you could be doing in downloading movies illegally. For, you, understandably, it’s just a great chance to save some money and get a movie that hasn’t even been released on DVD. But again, these are stolen goods, and getting them online is just as bad as if you went up to someone and bought pirated copies of them on the street.
No matter how much emphasis there might be on those stories where somebody is caught doing illegal downloading, and no matter how scary the fines and even prison time they might have had to face could be, the fact is people who get caught are few and far between.
There just isn’t a lot of risk, and for most people this is comforting enough. However, if all people who did this were caught, the fines would be alarmingly huge.
It’s sad to say, but people are naturally selfish, and if they think they can get away with something, they’re probably going to do it. With downloading movies, they’re usually right, and so they won’t stop no matter how much it could hurt others. Of course, it’s wrong to keep using excuses like this, but it just doesn’t stop people from doing it.
Try to understand how the people who work on movies feel. They live on the money they make from the film, and they won’t make any when somebody downloads a movie as opposed to buying it.
Imagine if you were in their shoes. Knowing how frustrating it would be will hopefully make you more sympathetic.
People might tell you that downloading movies is okay because you’re only hurting actors, directors, and executives who make too much money already. Don’t listen to them. The majority of workers are underpaid staff and extras, and they need your money, too. Stop having to feel guilty and avoid downloading movies illegally once and for all.
It again is a B quality movie, and something I would have never gotten as a movie rental before. Movies For Rent Many of them, however, are a scam and you should avoid them at all costs. Again we have seen some real bad movies though, one’s that have been shut off shortly after turning them on.
