For the past 11 years there has always been a Mothers Day Craft & Gift Show. For this year the craft show will be on May 1 to May3, 2009 held at the Yankton Mall, 2101 Broadway, Yankton, SD 57078. After all the years that this craft show has been held visitors will have a lot of fun when they attend the craft show.

On May 1 the show will start from 10:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M., on May 2 it will start from 10:00 to 6:00 P.M. then on May 3 the craft show will start noon to 5:00 P.M. Vendors will be allowed to set up their booths on April 30 from 4:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. and May 1 from 7:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. vendors can take down their booths on May 3 5:00 P.M.

Admission fee and parking space if free for the public and vendors. Visitors can park at the malls parking area but the vendors will park at the outskirts of the mall usually at the north end area of the mall. RV parking is allowed but only at the vendors parking area.

There will be a public restroom at the north end of the mall. The promoters will be providing tables with the size of 8×2 and chairs but will be charging $5.00 for them. The vendors will have electricity provided for them by the promoters for free but the water will not be provided.

For arts and crafts vendors who are planning to attend the Mothers Day Craft & Gift Show there is a space fee of $80.00 for a 10×10 space area. The promoter will not need Avon, Watkins, Aarbon, Pampered Chef type of vendors because they will only use one type of business and will be put at a different area from the crafts and arts vendors. All types of craft and arts vendors are invited to join the craft show.

Mothers Day Craft & Gift Show will be advertised by putting ads in the newspaper and internet. Signs will be posted around the mall and along the road coming in and out of the city. Flyers will be distributed around the city and radio broadcasting of the event will be done.
