Smell Like a Reality Television Star With Kim Kardashian Perfume

Love her or despise her, it’s hard to doubt that Keeping Up With the Kardashians starlet Kim Kardashian is a television tour-de-force. The 31-year-old is famous for selling every little thing from footwear to nail varnish to burgers.

Very little is too good for her to promote.

Just one of her most successful endeavors is her multiple fragrances– as of 2011, she sells 3 different perfumes. Each fragrance is retailed to young ladies and has an unique fragrance notes to reach her masses of faithful followers.

Kim Kardashian Perfume

The initial release in her eau de cologne compilation was her self-titled formulation. The perfume is explained as a mix of gardenia, tuberose and jasmine. “I never like anything too fruity; I’m more of a white florals kind of girl,” she told OK! magazine before the scent’s February 2010 release. “It’s sexy and sultry, yet youthful. I wanted to make sure it was good for everyday use– and that you could wear it both at night and during the day. My little sisters wear it, but my mom loves it, too, so it has a broad appeal.”

Want to have it for yourself? The perfume is readily available everywhere the web or through department stores.

Kim Kardashian Gold

The reality star didn’t wait long to release the another perfume in her selection, Kim Kardashian Gold. The fragrance– released in August 2011 — was motivated by her dad, late lawyer Robert Kardashian.

“When my dad would go away on trips he always came back with a special perfume for me. I hated when he bought perfume for his girlfriends, but loved it when he bought me a glamorous bottle of his favorite scent of gardenia,” she remembered. “So when I was developing Gold, I thought of him and other happy times in my childhood.”

The perfume is available online and is described as an opulent perfume that turns everything to gold– much like the moneymaker herself. The perfume is intended for summer wear and provides “a rush of bergamot, grapefruit and pink pepper. Next come the florals, including jasmine, rose and violet. Those notes mix with patchouli, sandalwood, amber and benzoin to provide it a unique scent.”

Love by Kim Kardashian

The star was in the midst of wedding ceremony preparations when she announced the release of the third scent in her collection. The bride-to-be produced one thousand different bottles of the scent to give to her wedding guests and sell to her big fans. It’s designed to capture the feeling of love, and “opens with top notes of sparkling red currant, pink freesia and star jasmine. A heart of French mimosa, rare Egyptian tuberose, and rose absolute orpur eases into a rich background of sensual musk, creamy sandalwood and orris butter.”

The fragrance — priced at $ 100 a bottle– is contained in a jewel-encrusted bottle. “I really hope you guys love it as much as I do. I’ve had such a positive response to my previous two fragrances and this one means so much to be because of what it stands for … the enduring beauty of building a life with your other half and watching your love grow, each and every day,” the star wrote on her blog at the time.

The fragrance lasts longer than her marriage– she filed for divorce after just 72 days of marriage. Love is still accessible for purchase as part of a gift set that includes her other two fragrances.

“Just wanted to let you know that my new holiday fragrance gift set, Kim Kardashian Love Collection, is out this week …” she wrote on her blog after Thanksgiving 2011. “It features all three of my fragrances, my signature scent, Gold and Love.”

Want all three scents to expand your scent collection? You can — they’re all available in retail stores.
