With todays home entertainment systems, many of us get movie rentals regularly. Typically people wait for the rental, as opposed to seeing the film at the cinema. Here is a short list of some of the most popular DVD rentals in October 2008.

Then, he is fired from work, and he turns to crime for the solution. People die during an attempted robbery, and he is convicted, and sentenced to die. Death by lethal injection awaits. Instead, he isn’t dead, but is in a psychiatric ward. Now its all on the line, his sanity, and his soul.

LINEWATCH: Well likes Michael Dixon is a boarder man in New Mexico, and life seems to be good. Eventually, his past is going to threaten his future.a long time ago, he was in the violent L.A. gang scene, which he eventually left. When a bad twist of fate gives away his location to his old gang, his family is put in a dangerous situation. He must risk his future, and help gang leader drake move a large drug shipment into the U.S.

THE INCREDIBLE HULK: This film tells us the tale of Dr. Bruce Banner, who has become the Incredible Hulk because of being hit by gamma rays. This feature film is about the comic character the Hulk. Key actors include Edward Norton, Liv Tyler, Tim Roth. Louis Leterrier directed this movie. The film genre is sci-fi/action.

DECEPTION: Jonathan McQuarry, a bored and lonely corporate auditor, meets charismatic corporate lawyer Wyatt Bose. It is a meeting that sends his life in a whole new direction. He is exposed to “The List”, where people find access to a sexual extasy. But, he also gets caught up in a world of corruption, treason and death.

JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH: Searching for his lost brother, a science professor explores caves in Iceland that leads him to the center of the earth. This is another version of the original 1959 movie, that was created from the brilliant book by celbrated writer Jules Verne. Brendan Fraser, Josh Hutchinson, Anita Briem, and Seth Myers star in this adventure film.

THE HAPPENING: Elliot Moore (Mark Wahlberb), with his wife and many other frightened people are escaping Philadelphia by train. The northeastern U.S. has been thrown into chaos. Many people are being overcome by an unusual force, and are dying at their own hands. Will mankind find the solution, or are we witnessing the final acts of man?

IRON MAN: Man of the town, arms builder, Tony Stark is attacked and taken by Afghan insurgents. They try to force him to build missiles for the insurgent group. He was wounded when his convoy was attacked, and he has shrapnel lodged in his chest. To live through this life threatening wound, and escape this predicament, he develops a suit of armor, which makes him virtually invincible. We now have another super hero, Iron Man.

SPEED RACER: The 1990′s television cartoon gets real actors. Following an example like the movie The Flinstones, Speed Racer was a TV cartoon that was turned into a feature film with actors. Speed Racer is a young man who loves racing. His goal is to win The Crucible, a huge racing event that his older brother had died racing in. With odds against him, and everything at risk, Speed Racer teams with his enemy of the past, Racer X, in an effort to capture the championship, so the family business won’t go under.
