What are the best requirements for a music recording laptop?

I’m about to buy a laptop, but I will use it for music recording. I would like to know what are the best things for the laptop to have to be a great music recorder, (audio cards, ram, etc)

It’s good to have at least 2GB RAM. Make sure you have a dual core processor equal to or greater than 2.5ghz.
For processing Audio:
Processor and Ram.
The most Important part though will be the Sound Card. The Build in Audio probably will not Cut it so you will need to make sure it has the proper Add-In card Slot for the Sound card you will want.
