Have you heard of a Gem Faire? If not there will be one in your area for the first three weekends this March. On March 6-8 at Del Mar Fairgrounds, CA, March 13-15 Alameda County Fairgrounds, Pleasanton, CA, and March 20-22 South Towne Exposition Center, Salt Lake City, UT is the schedule and location of the Gem Faire.
For all the years that there has been a Gem Faire, they have made special efforts to make it a community affair. A Bead Faire and Gem Faire are for free admission. The Gem Faire or Bread Faire community affairs display gem and mineral products that are for sale.
Besides from buying the gems and minerals that are for sale, you can also learn how to make one for yourself. If you are interested in making your our jewelry with the gems and minerals available. There are classes & demonstrations offered at every Bead Faire and most Gem Faires.
If you have jewelries that are in need of repair you can bring them with you when you go to the Gem Faire and Bead Faire. That is because at these fairs they also offer repair service while you wait. Plus, a chance to win hourly door prizes at every Gem Faire location.
At Garden at VA, Off Sepulveda Bl at Constitution Avenue on March 5 there will be a Brentwood Glen Community Festival. This festival will have their show from 12 noon to 6 pm.
The admission is free; there will be a lot of crafts and arts for display and for sale. The community festival offers live music by local musicians under the Music Tree for entertainment. Activities like a tour at the Parrot Sanctuary, visit the rabbit house, have lunch or dinner while listening to the live music and more in a garden setting in the middle of L.A.
