What is the best way to transfer music from one comp to another for Ipod?
christierose21 asked:
I got a new laptop. I want to know the easiest way to transfer my music. i just downloaded I-Tunes. Can i just hook my ipod up to the new computer and somehow get my music from my ipod to my computer without getting a program to do it? or should I just put my music on external hard drive and then move it to my new computer?

by a cd or a USB port
yes if you go into folder settings and show hidden folders
you can then go into the iPod from my computer then, ipod control>music and all the music is in those folders and you can copy and paste it
although the file names ate weird when you open them with the music player such as iTunes the digital labels are all right
External hard drive would work. Or a flash drive. Or you could burn a DATA disk, one of those can hold about 100 to 150 songs. But you have to manually import them like importing music from a flash drive. Or Or Or theres disk thing that you can find in places like target and office depot, i forgt what its called but its $10 and it works. the disk pacage has a ipod on the front of it tho.
The easiest way is to use an iPod-to-computer transfer program to transfer all music on iPod to computer, and then add them to your iTunes library.
I personally used Tansee iPod Transfer.
Whenever you plug your iPod to the computer, this program could display all songs and videos on the iPod instantly. You simply select what you wish to transfer and click “Copy” button. Done. All your songs will be copied to your new computer completely and safely.
It even has detailed guide.
Hope it helps.

I don’t think you can do that without a program. What you need is a iPod to computer transfer to help you backup all the things on your ipod to your computer. And add them onto your itunes.
It’s fast, easy and very wonderful. I think it is a good choose.
